- Conducting and scoring polysomnographic studies to accurately diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Educating patients on sleep hygiene and proper use of equipment for sleep studies.
- Performing maintenance and calibration on polysomnographic equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient data, including sleep studies, treatment plans, and progress.
- Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously staying updated on the latest advancements and techniques in polysomnography to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Providing compassionate care and support to patients throughout the sleep study process.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a collaborative and seamless care experience.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the sleep medicine program.

Bachelor's Degree In Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, Or Related Field
Certification As A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Rpsgt) Through The Board Of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (Brpt)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Sleep Center Or Related Healthcare Setting
Knowledge Of Various Sleep Disorders And Treatment Options, As Well As The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Sleep Study Results
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
