We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As an RN in our NICU, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise and passion to care for our tiniest patients and their families.   1. Provide exceptional care and compassion to neonatal patients and their families.
  2. Utilize expertise and passion to deliver high-quality care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and assess patient's health status and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
  5. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
  6. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to potential complications or emergencies.
  7. Educate patients and their families on neonatal care and discharge instructions.
  8. Document patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
  10. Maintain professional development and stay current with best practices in neonatal care.
  11. Provide emotional support and guidance to families during their stay in the NICU.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Employment: The Candidate Must Have A Current And Valid Nursing License From The State In Which They Will Be Working.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree: A Bsn Is Preferred For This Position, As It Provides A More Comprehensive Education And Better Prepares Nurses For Advanced Practice Roles.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nicu Experience: Adventhealth Is Looking For Rns Who Have A Strong Background In Neonatal Intensive Care And Are Able To Handle The Challenges Of Working In A Specialized And Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certifications: These Certifications Are Required For All Nicu Nurses And Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Nicu Nurse, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Parents, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Care And Building Positive Relationships With Patients And Their Families.
