  1. Develop and implement educational programs and materials for nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  2. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas for improvement and create educational plans to address them.
  3. Conduct training sessions and workshops for new and existing nursing staff on clinical procedures, best practices, and evidence-based practices.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and learning.
  5. Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  6. Stay current with healthcare industry trends, research, and advancements to incorporate into training programs.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure consistency and coordination in training and education.
  8. Provide support and guidance to nursing staff during challenging patient cases, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
  9. Maintain accurate records of training and education sessions and report on compliance and progress to nursing leadership.
  10. Continuously assess and address the learning needs of nursing staff to ensure their ongoing professional development and growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher: A Minimum Of A Bsn Degree Is Typically Required For A Registered Nurse, Clinical Educator Position At Adventhealth. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This License Ensures That The Nurse Has Met The Required Standards Of Education And Competency To Practice Nursing.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience Is Typically Required For A Clinical Educator Position. This Experience Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Educate And Mentor Other Nurses.

  • Teaching Or Education Experience: Many Clinical Educator Positions At Adventhealth Require Candidates To Have Experience In Teaching Or Education. This Could Include Experience As A Preceptor, Mentor, Or Instructor In A Clinical Setting Or In A Formal Education Program.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Educator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Educating And Training Other Nurses. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Information And Build Relationships With Colleagues.
