Job Description

As a Registered Dietitian, you have a passion for helping individuals achieve optimal health through proper nutrition.   1. Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
  2. Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual needs, medical history, and dietary restrictions.
  3. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and make adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
  6. Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in clinical nutrition.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and interventions.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards related to nutrition and patient care.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Serve as a resource for healthcare professionals and provide consultations and recommendations as needed.
  11. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the field of clinical nutrition.
  13. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Participate in community outreach and education programs related to nutrition and wellness.
  15. Serve as a role model for healthy living and promote AdventHealth's mission of providing whole-person care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State Licensure As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn).

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Nutrition Therapy And Ability To Develop Individualized Nutrition Plans.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Educate And Counsel Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
