1. Oversee the operations of multiple Anatomical Pathology laboratories within the AdventHealth system.
2. Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely results by implementing and monitoring quality control measures.
3. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Anatomical Pathology department.
4. Lead and manage a team of pathologists, laboratory technicians, and support staff.
5. Collaborate with other departments and facilities to ensure seamless integration and communication.
6. Monitor and analyze department performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
7. Manage the budget for the Anatomical Pathology department, including forecasting and cost management.
8. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices, implementing new technologies and processes as appropriate.
9. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department, promoting a patient-centric approach to healthcare.
10. Act as a liaison between the Anatomical Pathology department and other departments, facilities, and external stakeholders.

17. Participate in strategic planning for the growth and development of the Anatomical Pathology department.
18. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
