- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiology equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following established protocols and providing clear instructions.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols and accurately interpret images.
- Educate and inform patients about the imaging procedure, answer any questions or concerns, and address any patient needs or requests.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging procedures performed, patient history, and any relevant information.
- Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of current imaging techniques, equipment, and technology to provide high-quality and efficient services.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.

Completion Of An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Program In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In Anatomy, Patient Positioning, Radiation Safety, And Medical Terminology.
Arrt Certification: Adventhealth Requires Candidates To Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiography. This Certification Ensures That Candidates Have Met National Standards For Education, Ethics, And Clinical Competency In The Field.
