We are currently seeking a talented and driven Provider Relations & Contracting Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our network of healthcare providers and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal patient care. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all provider relations and contracting matters within AdventHealth.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and their staff to ensure a positive network experience and efficient resolution of any issues.
  3. Actively seek out and onboard new providers to expand the network and improve patient access to care.
  4. Negotiate contracts with providers to ensure fair and competitive rates and terms for services provided.
  5. Monitor and analyze provider performance and utilization data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for cost savings.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments, including finance and legal, to develop and implement contracting strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines related to provider contracting.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in healthcare policies that may impact provider relationships and contracts.
  9. Participate in and represent AdventHealth at provider meetings, conferences, and events to promote the organization and its services.
  10. Communicate effectively with providers and internal stakeholders to address and resolve any contract-related issues or concerns.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider contract records and documentation.
  12. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline provider relations and contracting processes.
  13. Train and mentor new team members to ensure a strong and cohesive provider relations and contracting team.
  14. Adhere to and promote AdventHealth's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with providers and colleagues.
  15. Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Provider Relations And Contracting, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Specifically Related To Provider Contracts And Reimbursement.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Contract Management Software.
