  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Physician Assistant will be to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients at AdventHealth. This includes conducting thorough patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, and developing and implementing treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team: The PA will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment. This may involve consulting with specialists, discussing treatment plans, and providing updates on patient progress.
  3. Perform medical procedures: The PA will be responsible for performing a variety of medical procedures, including but not limited to administering medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting with surgeries.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records: It will be the PA's responsibility to accurately document patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. This is essential for ensuring continuity of care and providing accurate information to other healthcare providers.
  5. Educate and counsel patients: The PA will play a crucial role in educating patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures. This may involve discussing lifestyle changes, medication instructions, and potential side effects.
  6. Stay updated on medical advancements: As a healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional care, we value staying updated on the latest medical advancements. Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Graduate Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Physician Assistant.

  • Current State License To Practice As A Physician Assistant.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
