Certified Phlebotomist: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Certification As A Phlebotomist From A Recognized Agency Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience In Healthcare Setting: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Healthcare Setting Is Required. This Experience Should Include Proficiency In Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Processing.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And The Ability To Accurately Identify And Label Specimens To Ensure Proper Processing And Testing.
