- Perform blood draws and collect other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Label and process specimens accurately and timely to ensure proper testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients to ease any fears or concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures performed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in phlebotomy techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Assist in training and mentoring new phlebotomy staff.
- Take responsibility for inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Credential From A Recognized Accrediting Agency Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Phlebotomy Techniques, Including Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Handling And Processing.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
High Attention To Detail And Accuracy, With A Commitment To Maintaining Patient Confidentiality And Following All Safety Protocols And Procedures.
