Job Description

  1. Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
  2. Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
  3. Utilize knowledge and expertise in the field of pharmacy to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community.
  4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to support the accuracy and efficiency of medication dispensing.
  5. Communicate effectively with pharmacists, patients, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications.
  8. Maintain inventory and stock levels of medications, ensuring an adequate supply is always available.
  9. Assist in the maintenance and organization of the pharmacy, including cleaning and restocking shelves and work areas.
  10. Keep up-to-date with changes in pharmacy regulations and advancements in pharmaceutical technology.
  11. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  13. Serve as a role model for other team members by demonstrating a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance job performance.
  15. Comply with all AdventHealth policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician Position At Adventhealth Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math And Science, Which Are Essential For The Role.
