1. Greet and welcome patients to the AdventHealth outpatient department in a warm and friendly manner.
2. Determine patient needs and assist in scheduling appointments with the appropriate healthcare provider.
3. Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
4. Provide information and answer questions regarding insurance coverage, treatment plans, and general hospital policies.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
6. Coordinate and track patient referrals to other healthcare facilities or specialists as needed.
7. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and appropriate care is provided to patients.
8. Monitor patient satisfaction and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
9. Facilitate communication between patients and their families, healthcare providers, and other staff members to ensure a positive patient experience.
10. Assist with financial counseling and billing inquiries for patients, as needed.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking necessary supplies and equipment.
12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
13. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to patient care coordination.
14. Act as an ambassador for AdventHealth, representing our mission and values in all interactions with patients and their families.
15. Collaborate with other departments and team members to improve processes and enhance the overall patient experience.
