  1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Efficiently register patients by accurately collecting and verifying personal and insurance information.
  3. Utilize excellent communication skills to answer patient and visitor inquiries and provide necessary assistance.
  4. Collaborate with medical staff and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient information.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  6. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, especially those who may be anxious or in distress.
  7. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals as needed.
  8. Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Handle financial transactions, including collecting copays and verifying insurance coverage.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
  11. Continuously update and maintain patient records and information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on healthcare industry regulations and changes.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the patient experience.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  15. Represent the hospital and its values by providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and fellow team members.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Access Representative Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Be Able To Effectively Perform Administrative And Customer Service Duties.
