In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring and analyzing cardiac rhythms for patients in our hospital. As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for detecting and reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff, allowing for quick and effective intervention.   1. Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms for patients in the hospital.
  2. Detect and report any abnormalities in cardiac rhythms to the nursing staff.
  3. Ensure the safety of patients by promptly reporting any concerning changes in cardiac rhythms.
  4. Work closely with the nursing staff to provide quick and effective intervention for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of cardiac rhythms and interventions.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  7. Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment to ensure accurate readings.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current cardiac monitoring protocols and procedures.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
  11. Assist with other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or supervisor.
  12. Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  14. Take initiative in identifying and resolving any issues or concerns related to cardiac monitoring.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Attend required training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  17. Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet the needs of patients and the hospital.
  18. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  19. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and hospital staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Certified Cardiac Monitoring Program Or Equivalent Experience In Cardiac Monitoring.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Ekg Interpretation And Arrhythmia Recognition.

  • Familiarity With Various Cardiac Monitoring Systems And Equipment.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Make Quick, Accurate Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Communicate With Healthcare Team Members And Provide Quality Patient Care.
