As a Materials Management Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the flow of materials throughout our facilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in materials management or inventory control is preferred.   1. Coordinate and manage the flow of materials throughout our facilities.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to various departments within the organization.
  3. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  4. Work closely with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  5. Monitor and track material usage and identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  6. Collaborate with department managers to understand their material needs and make recommendations for inventory levels and ordering schedules.
  7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to material orders or deliveries.
  8. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  9. Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move and store materials.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
  11. Train and mentor new materials management associates and assist with their onboarding.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and provide updates on material management processes and procedures.
  13. Assist with special projects related to materials management, such as implementing new inventory management software.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste in materials management processes.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of AdventHealth and promote a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Materials Management Or Inventory Control

  • Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Procurement, Logistics, And Distribution

  • Proficiency In Inventory Management Software And Microsoft Office

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With A Team.
