  1. Manage Inventory: The Materials Management Associate will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels of supplies and equipment throughout the organization. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering new supplies, and tracking usage to ensure adequate supply levels.
  2. Coordinate with Departments: This role requires working closely with various departments to understand their supply needs and ensure timely delivery of necessary items. The Materials Management Associate will be responsible for building strong relationships with department heads and effectively communicating any changes or updates to inventory.
  3. Receive and Inspect Deliveries: The Materials Management Associate will receive deliveries, inspect them for accuracy and quality, and ensure proper storage of supplies and equipment. They will also be responsible for documenting any discrepancies or damages and reporting them to the appropriate parties.
  4. Maintain Records: This position requires meticulous record-keeping skills to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries. The Materials Management Associate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and generating reports as needed.
  5. Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities: The Materials Management Associate will be responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities and making recommendations to minimize waste and decrease expenses related to supplies and equipment.
  6. Collaborate with Vendors: This role involves working closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, place orders, and resolve any issues that may arise with deliveries. The Materials Management Associate will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with vendors and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  7. Follow Safety and Compliance Regulations: The Materials Management Associate must adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations while handling and storing supplies and equipment. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all organizational policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  8. Support Departmental Goals: This role requires actively supporting the goals and objectives of the Materials Management department and the organization as a whole. The Materials Management Associate will participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
