Manager, Pharmacy (Outpatient)

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Outpatient Pharmacy department at AdventHealth.
2. Lead and supervise a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance of the department, including streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
4. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the proper and timely delivery of medication services to patients.
6. Evaluate and update department policies and procedures, keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
7. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring of medication and supplies.
8. Identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to medication services, patient care, or staff performance.
9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
11. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings, providing updates and recommendations to support the overall goals and mission of AdventHealth.
12. Stay informed about new developments and advancements in the pharmacy field, and incorporate relevant changes into the department's practices and procedures.
13. Serve as a role model for leadership and professionalism, reflecting AdventHealth's values and commitment to compassionate, whole-person care.
14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
15. Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the organization's leadership team.
