  1. Perform high-quality mammography services to accurately diagnose and detect breast abnormalities in patients.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  3. Maintain and operate mammography equipment according to safety standards and protocols.
  4. Monitor and evaluate image quality to ensure accurate results.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
  6. Educate patients about the mammography procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  8. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols related to mammography.
  9. Continuously improve knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  12. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  13. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients.
  14. Perform quality control tests on equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality assurance initiatives.
  16. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies to protect patient information.
  17. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in mammography technology and techniques.
  18. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  19. Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's mission and values in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing AdventHealth to patients and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Mammography: This Certification Demonstrates The Technologist's Knowledge And Skills In Performing Mammograms And Interpreting The Results Accurately.

  • State Licensure: Mammography Technologists Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Meet The Minimum Education And Training Requirements Set By The State.

  • Experience With Digital Mammography Equipment: Adventhealth Uses State-Of-The-Art Digital Mammography Equipment To Provide The Best Possible Care To Its Patients. Therefore, Candidates Must Have Experience Working With Such Equipment And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Breast Anatomy And Pathology: Mammography Technologists Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Breast Anatomy And The Various Pathologies That Can Be Detected Through Mammograms. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Identifying Abnormalities And Assisting Radiologists In Making Accurate Diagnoses.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills: Mammography Technologists Work Closely With Patients, Many Of Whom May Be Anxious Or Uncomfortable During The Procedure.
