- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Assist in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families in times of crisis.
- Cooperate with other departments and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice.
Current Lvn License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Emergency Department Or Critical Care Setting.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certification.
Experience With Emergency Procedures Such As Intubation, Iv Insertion, And Wound Care.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
