  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: The primary responsibility of a Radiologic Technologist at AdventHealth is to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  2. Assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions: Radiologic Technologists are responsible for producing high-quality images that help physicians and healthcare providers accurately diagnose and treat patients.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort: The safety and comfort of patients is of utmost importance in this role. Radiologic Technologists are responsible for following strict safety protocols and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  4. Utilize expertise and knowledge: As a highly skilled and licensed professional, a Radiologic Technologist must utilize their expertise and knowledge to produce accurate and high-quality images, troubleshoot technical issues, and adapt to different patient needs.
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies: It is the responsibility of the Radiologic Technologist to maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. They must also keep an inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively: Strong communication skills are essential in this role, as Radiologic Technologists must communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid License From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt): This Is A Nationally Recognized Certification That Demonstrates Knowledge And Competency In Various Radiologic Procedures And Techniques.

  • A Degree In Radiologic Technology: Most Employers Require A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology, Although Some May Prefer A Bachelor's Degree.

  • Experience With Advanced Imaging Equipment: Adventhealth Is A Leading Healthcare Provider That Utilizes The Latest Technology In Diagnostic Imaging. Therefore, A Licensed Radiologic Technologist Must Have Experience And Proficiency With Advanced Imaging Equipment Such As Computed Tomography (Ct), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri), And Ultrasound.

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Safety And Protocols: A Licensed Radiologic Technologist Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Radiation Safety And Protocols To Ensure The Safety Of Patients, Themselves, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
