- Lead a team of medical assistants in the outpatient department, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure that all medical assistants are following proper protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Act as a role model for the medical assistant team, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the outpatient department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good working condition.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring that all patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between the medical assistant team and other departments, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the medical assistant team, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing exceptional performance.
- Stay up-to-date on current healthcare practices and regulations, ensuring that all medical assistants are following best practices and adhering to all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for the medical assistant team, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In An Outpatient Setting.
Certification As A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma).
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record Systems And Experience With Medical Charting.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Train And Supervise Other Medical Assistants.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Providers And Patients.
