
Laboratory Assistant, Clinical Lab

- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Collect, handle, and process patient samples with strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Record and report test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify and confirm test orders and results.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills by attending training sessions and staying current with industry developments and advancements.
- Collaborate with team members and support a positive and respectful work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and colleagues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by laboratory management.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Through A Recognized Accrediting Agency
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
