- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the healthcare facility through regular cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
- Adhere to all cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply is always available.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow all infection control and waste management policies and procedures to maintain a healthy and environmentally-friendly facility.
- Participate in training and educational programs to stay updated on new cleaning techniques and environmental sustainability practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes to enhance the overall cleanliness and sustainability of the facility.
- Support the organization's commitment to promoting a healthier planet by implementing recycling and waste reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with the Environmental Services Manager to maintain budget and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to environmental services.
- Uphold the organization's mission and values of providing exceptional patient care and promoting a healthy environment.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. This Ensures The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Communication Skills Necessary For The Job.
Previous Experience In Environmental Services: Candidates With Previous Experience In Environmental Services, Such As Housekeeping Or Janitorial Work, Will Have A Better Understanding Of The Job Responsibilities And Expectations.
Knowledge Of Cleaning Procedures And Equipment: Applicants Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Cleaning Procedures And Equipment, Including Proper Use Of Chemicals And Personal Protective Equipment. This Is Essential For Maintaining A Safe And Sanitary Environment.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift/Move Heavy Objects: Environmental Services Associates Are Required To Perform Physically Demanding Tasks, Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Bending Or Kneeling To Clean. Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina And Ability To Perform These Tasks.
