- Provide support to healthcare professionals in the emergency department by assisting with various tasks and procedures.
- Handle and transport equipment and supplies as needed.
- Prepare patient rooms and equipment for procedures and examinations.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with patient intake and registration, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate assistance as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff.

High School Diploma Or Ged: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For An Ed Technician Position At Adventhealth. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Competency.
Completion Of An Approved Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Program: Adventhealth Requires Ed Technicians To Have Completed An Approved Emt Program. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received The Necessary Training And Education To Provide Basic Emergency Medical Care.
Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt): In Addition To Completing An Approved Emt Program, Adventhealth Also Requires Ed Technicians To Hold A Current Emt Certification.
