  • Perform echocardiograms on patients using advanced technology and equipment
  • Ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements are obtained for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Maintain and operate equipment, troubleshoot any issues, and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties
  • Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure the well-being of patients during procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  • Accurately record and maintain patient information and test results in electronic medical records
  • Continuously stay updated on advancements and changes in echocardiography techniques and equipment
  • Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Echocardiography (Rdcs) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Echocardiograms In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Echocardiography Equipment, As Well As Analyzing And Reporting Findings Accurately.
