- Perform echocardiograms on patients using advanced technology and equipment
- Ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements are obtained for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment plans
- Maintain and operate equipment, troubleshoot any issues, and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties
- Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure the well-being of patients during procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Accurately record and maintain patient information and test results in electronic medical records
- Continuously stay updated on advancements and changes in echocardiography techniques and equipment
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.
Certification In Echocardiography (Rdcs) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Echocardiograms In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Echocardiography Equipment, As Well As Analyzing And Reporting Findings Accurately.
