  1. Conduct Echocardiogram procedures on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  2. Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  3. Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper functioning.
  4. Review and interpret images to identify potential abnormalities and assist in diagnosis.
  5. Communicate with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on test results.
  7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  9. Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of echocardiography, implementing best practices and techniques.
  10. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
  11. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  12. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  15. Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field

  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs)

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members
