As the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations and provide strategic direction to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, current pharmacy licensure, and a minimum of 5 years of management experience.   1. Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for pharmacy services in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy services.
  4. Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and appropriate use of medications for patients.
  6. Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing of medications.
  8. Manage the pharmacy budget and identify ways to reduce costs without compromising quality of care.
  9. Stay current with industry developments and best practices in pharmacy services, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure a safe and positive work environment for pharmacy staff.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support organization-wide initiatives.
  12. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  13. Act as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other departments within the organization.
  14. Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy management.
  15. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Active And Unrestricted Pharmacist License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Pharmacy Leadership Role, Preferably In A Hospital Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Regulations, And Industry Trends

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians.
