We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nutritional Services to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our nutritional services department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and personalized nutrition services to our patients.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the nutritional services department in alignment with the overall mission and values of AdventHealth.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the department, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Lead and mentor a team of nutritionists, dietitians, and other staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  6. Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition programs and initiatives to promote healthy eating habits and improve the overall well-being of our patients.
  7. Monitor and analyze department performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and teams within AdventHealth to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to patient care.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and research in the field of nutrition and integrate new findings and best practices into the department's operations.
  10. Act as a representative of AdventHealth and promote the organization's values and mission in all interactions with patients, staff, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Nutrition Department.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Nutrition Guidelines, Regulations, And Standards Set By Organizations Such As The Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics And The Joint Commission.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Effectively Communicate Nutrition Information To Patients And Staff.
