Director, Facilities

1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all AdventHealth facilities.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, ensuring all tasks and projects are completed efficiently and on time.
3. Manage and lead a team of facilities professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and job satisfaction.
4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address facility needs and priorities.
5. Develop and maintain a budget for facility maintenance and improvement projects.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and local building codes.
7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the safety and functionality of all equipment and systems.
8. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for facility maintenance and repair services.
9. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
10. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, processes, and best practices to improve facility operations and efficiency.
11. Develop and maintain facility emergency preparedness plans and protocols.
12. Serve as a liaison with external agencies and stakeholders, representing AdventHealth's facilities and interests.
13. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all facilities staff.
14. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in facilities management to ensure AdventHealth remains at the forefront of best practices.
15. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
