Director, Clinical Nutrition

1. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the clinical nutrition program in alignment with the overall goals and mission of AdventHealth.
2. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the clinical nutrition program, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of registered dietitians and other clinical nutrition staff to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and treatment.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the growth and success of the clinical nutrition program.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition to continuously improve the quality of care provided to patients.
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical nutrition program, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
8. Develop and manage budgets, including identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to clinical nutrition and patient care.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
11. Serve as a role model and advocate for the values and mission of AdventHealth, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
12. Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional certifications and licenses as required.
13. Act as a liaison between clinical nutrition services and other departments within AdventHealth to promote collaboration and effective communication.
14. Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints related to clinical nutrition with sensitivity and professionalism.
15. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the clinical nutrition program and its services to the community.
