
Credentialing Coordinator

- Verify and maintain accurate records of healthcare providers' credentials, licenses, and certifications
- Conduct thorough background checks and follow-up on any discrepancies or issues
- Monitor and track expiration dates of credentials to ensure timely renewal
- Collaborate with various departments to obtain necessary documentation and information for credentialing
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and accrediting bodies' standards
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to gather necessary information and address any concerns or questions
- Identify and report any potential risks or concerns related to credentialing and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and changes in credentialing requirements
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and information as needed
- Support and assist in the onboarding process for new providers, including orientation and training on credentialing processes and requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle all credentialing processes with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Credentialing, Privileging, Or Provider Enrollment In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Accreditation And Regulatory Standards Related To Credentialing And Privileging, Such As The Joint Commission And Ncqa.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Departments And Healthcare Providers.
