Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Clinical Laboratory Scientist Position At Adventhealth. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Laboratory Tests Accurately And Efficiently.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt): Adventhealth Requires All Clinical Laboratory Scientists To Hold A Current Certification As An Mls Or Mt Through A Recognized Accrediting Agency Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or American Medical Technologists (Amt).
