Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: This Qualification Is Essential For A Cna Position At Adventhealth. It Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed A State-Approved Training Program And Has Passed A Competency Exam.

  • Experience In Surgical Telemetry: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Surgical Telemetry Unit. This Experience Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Equipment And Procedures Specific To This Area Of Nursing.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: As A Cna Working In A Surgical Telemetry Unit, It Is Important To Have Basic Life Support Skills. Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Is Required For This Role.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Cna Roles Require Frequent Communication With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: Working As A Cna In A Surgical Telemetry Unit Can Be Physically Demanding. Candidates Should Be Able To Stand For Long Periods, Lift And Move Patients, And Perform Other Tasks That Require Physical Strength And Dexterity.
