High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) At Adventhealth Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Ensure They Have A Strong Foundation In Basic Education And Communication Skills.
Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Program: To Work As A Cna At Adventhealth, Candidates Must Have Successfully Completed A State-Approved Cna Training Program. This Program Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Care For Patients In A Healthcare Setting.
Current Cna Certification: Adventhealth Requires All Cnas To Hold A Current And Valid Cna Certification From The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Requirements And Have The Skills And Knowledge Needed To Provide Quality Patient Care.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Cnas At Adventhealth Are Required To Have A Current And Valid Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification. This Certification Ensures That They Have The Necessary Skills To Respond To Medical Emergencies And Provide Basic Life Support To Patients.
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: While Prior Experience Is Not Always Required, Having Previous Work Experience In A Healthcare Setting Can Be Beneficial For A Cna At Adventhealth. This Experience Can Include Working As A Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Or In A Similar Role. It Demonstrates A Level Of Familiarity With Patient Care And The Healthcare Environment.
