- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients and their families.
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including infection control measures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow established care plans and assist with implementing interventions as directed by the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights and privacy of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
- Proactively identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude while carrying out job responsibilities.
Completion Of A State-Approved Nursing Assistant Training Program: A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) At Adventhealth Must Have Completed A State-Approved Nursing Assistant Training Program That Includes A Minimum Of 75 Hours Of Coursework And Hands-On Clinical Experience.
Active Cna Certification: Candidates Must Possess An Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification From The State In Which They Are Applying For A Job At Adventhealth. This Certification Must Be In Good Standing And Up-To-Date.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Bls Certification Is Required For All Cnas At Adventhealth. This Certification Ensures That Cnas Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide Basic Life-Saving Techniques In Emergency Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Cnas At Adventhealth Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members. They Must Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Trust And Rapport With Patients.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Healthcare Industry, Especially In A Hospital Setting, Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding. Adventhealth Requires Cnas To Have The Ability To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Still Providing Compassionate And Quality Care To Patients.
