- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their stay.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Attend to patients' basic needs, including feeding, hydration, and toileting.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans for patients.
- Participate in educational opportunities to maintain and improve knowledge and skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' rights and privacy.
- Handle medical equipment and supplies safely and appropriately.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Ged: The First Qualification For A Certified Nursing Assistant Job At Adventhealth Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Perform Essential Job Tasks Such As Reading And Writing.
