Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified Medical Assistant (Outpatient) At Adventhealth Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program, Ensuring They Have Received Proper Training And Education In Medical Assisting.
Current Certification: Candidates For This Role Must Hold A Current Certification As A Certified Medical Assistant, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competency In The Field.
Experience In An Outpatient Setting: Experience Working In An Outpatient Setting Is Preferred For This Role, As It Will Ensure The Candidate Is Familiar With The Unique Demands And Processes Of This Type Of Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Adventhealth Utilizes Electronic Health Records, So Candidates Must Have Experience Working With Ehr Systems And Be Comfortable Navigating And Documenting Within Them.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant (Outpatient), The Candidate Will Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members On A Daily Basis.
