  1. Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health disorders in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  2. Assist in creating and implementing treatment plans for patients under the supervision of licensed clinicians.
  3. Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and response to treatment.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Help patients develop and practice coping skills to manage their mental health symptoms.
  6. Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients to promote their well-being.
  7. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  8. Educate and support family members and caregivers on how to best support their loved ones with mental health disorders.
  9. Continuously assess and report any changes or concerns regarding patients' mental health status.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Participate in training and education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the mental health field.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the organization and its mission to provide exceptional care to patients.
  13. Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights and needs.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  15. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care and facility operations.
  16. Act as a role model for positive behaviors and effective coping strategies for patients.
  17. Continuously assess and improve upon personal and professional development to enhance job performance.
  18. Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients have access to necessary support services.
  19. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and goal setting.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by licensed clinicians or supervisory staff.

Job Qualifications
  • An Associate's Degree Or Higher In A Relevant Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • Certification As A Licensed Psychiatric Technician (Lpt) By The California Board Of Vocational Nursing And Psychiatric Technicians.

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Mental Health Disorders And Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Team Members.

  • Ability To Provide Compassionate And Empathetic Care While Maintaining Professional Boundaries And Adhering To Ethical Standards.
