
Associate Chaplain

As an Associate Chaplain, you will have the opportunity to provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff in a hospital setting. - Provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff in a hospital setting.
- Offer emotional and spiritual guidance to individuals in times of crisis, grief, and illness.
- Conduct prayer services, religious rituals, and other spiritual ceremonies as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address the spiritual needs of patients.
- Offer spiritual counseling and support to patients of all faiths and beliefs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local faith communities and clergy.
- Facilitate support groups and educational programs on spiritual topics.
- Advocate for patients' spiritual needs and preferences within the healthcare system.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Keep records of spiritual care provided and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in on-call duties and respond to spiritual emergencies.
- Support and promote the hospital's mission and values.
- Continuously work towards personal and professional growth and development.
- Stay updated on current trends and practices in spiritual care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to whole-person care and the healing ministry of Christ.
Ordination Or Endorsement From A Recognized Religious Organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Theology, Pastoral Studies, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pastoral Ministry Or Chaplaincy.
Knowledge Of And Ability To Provide Spiritual Care To Patients Of Diverse Backgrounds.
Strong Communication, Interpersonal, And Counseling Skills.
