Director of Accounting
We are looking for an experienced, driven, and organized Director of Accounting to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at Advantage Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting strategies, managing the accounting team, and overseeing the full cycle of accounting operations. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to think strategically and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, superior financial acumen, and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement accounting strategies that are in alignment with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
- Manage and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure their work is accurate and meets the organization's standards.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial information to identify potential opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Monitor and report on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Implement best practices in accounting processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on current accounting trends and technologies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Equivalent Business Experience
At Least Years Of Experience In Accounting Management
Proven Ability To Manage Day-To-Day Accounting Activities
Working Knowledge Of Us Gaap And Applicable Rules And Regulations
