- Create and maintain technical documentation for tools, processes, and workflows used by the art team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art and animation, ensuring that all assets meet technical and performance requirements.
- Optimize art assets for various platforms and devices while maintaining visual fidelity.
- Develop and implement new tools and workflows to improve the efficiency and quality of the art pipeline.
- Work closely with the art director to ensure that all assets meet the artistic vision and style of the game.
- Collaborate with other technical artists to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Act as a liaison between the art and programming teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical requirements and limitations.
- Continuously research and implement new techniques and technologies to improve the overall quality of our games.
Proficiency In 3D Modeling And Animation Software Such As Maya, 3Ds Max, Or Blender.
Strong Understanding Of Technical Art Principles, Including Optimization, Asset Management, And Shader Development.
Experience With Game Engines Such As Unity Or Unreal Engine, And The Ability To Create And Implement Art Assets Within Them.
Familiarity With Scripting Languages Such As Python Or C# To Automate Tasks And Enhance Workflow Efficiency.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, As Technical Artists Often Work Closely With Both Artists And Programmers To Bridge The Gap Between Art And Technology.
