Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Online Engineer to join the Sledgehammer Games team at Activision Blizzard. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining networked game services, including server-side and client-side software, as well as data services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networked game architectures, a strong background in software development, and a passion for creating great online experiences for players.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field• 5+ years of experience developing networked game services• Expertise in C++ and/or C#, and object-oriented programming• Strong understanding of network protocols, network optimization, and client-server architectures• Experience developing for console (Xbox, PlayStation) or PC platforms• Working knowledge of database technologies, such as MySQL and MongoDB• Experience in game development and debugging• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIf you’re a highly motivated and experienced Senior Online Engineer looking to join a team of passionate and talented game developers, then we’d love to hear from you!
