Develop and implement data analysis strategies to inform and improve live operations for Activision Blizzard games.
Utilize technical expertise to extract, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators and metrics.
Design and maintain data pipelines and databases to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
Develop and maintain predictive models and algorithms to forecast player behavior and inform decision-making.
Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives, game teams, and product managers.
Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and provide solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and gaming to continuously improve processes and strategies.
Mentor and train junior team members on data analysis techniques and tools.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive overall business goals and objectives.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data analysis methods and make recommendations for improvement.
Act as a subject matter expert on data analytics and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
Contribute to the development and improvement of data analytics tools and systems.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Data Analytics And Engineering: The Ideal Senior Analytics Engineer, Live Ops Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Data Analytics And Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Data Structures, Sql, And Programming Languages Such As Python And R.
Proficiency In Live Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Live Operations In The Gaming Industry, Including Player Behavior, In-Game Economies, And Live Events. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Analyze And Optimize Game Performance And Player Engagement.

Familiarity With Gaming Platforms And Tools: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Popular Gaming Platforms Such As Pc, Console, And Mobile, As Well As Associated Tools Such As Unity And Unreal Engine. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Analyze And Optimize Game Performance Across Different Platforms.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Analytics Engineer, Live Ops Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Game Designers, Producers, And Data Scientists.
