- Conduct proactive threat intelligence research and analysis to identify potential cyber threats to Activision Blizzard and its players.
- Utilize various tools and resources to gather threat intelligence data and assess its relevance and impact on the company.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the gaming industry and potential threats specific to the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify anomalous activity and potential security breaches.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with current and emerging cyber threats and industry best practices to continuously improve threat intelligence processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and industry peers to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on threat intelligence, providing guidance and recommendations to other teams within the organization.
- Create and maintain documentation of threat intelligence processes, procedures, and findings for future reference.
- Identify areas for improvement within the threat intelligence program and implement solutions to enhance overall security posture.
- Communicate complex technical information and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in regular training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of threat intelligence.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to information security and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the threat intelligence team.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cyber Security And Threat Intelligence: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Cyber Threats, Attack Vectors, And Techniques Used By Threat Actors. They Should Also Be Familiar With Threat Intelligence Tools And Platforms.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Successful Threat Intelligence Analyst Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Be Able To Interpret And Analyze Large Amounts Of Data From Various Sources. This Includes The Ability To Identify Patterns, Trends, And Anomalies To Provide Actionable Insights.
Experience In Threat Hunting And Incident Response: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Proactively Hunting For Potential Threats And Conducting Thorough Investigations When Security Incidents Occur. This Requires A Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security, As Well As Incident Response Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Reporting Skills: The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. This Includes Creating Detailed Reports And Presentations On Threat Intelligence Findings And Recommendations.
Relevant Certifications: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (Ctia), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Or Giac Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (Gcti).
