Staff Accountant

Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and analyses for distribution to senior management and the board of directors. Helps to ensure financial statements comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Helps to ensure financial statements are professionally presented according to best practices in the industry Identifies, designs and implements process improvements in accordance with best practices within the industry. Applies technology to accounting, financial reporting and internal control processes to ensure the most efficient and effective processes. Works with senior accountants and/or the General Accounting Manager to evaluate company compliance with debt covenants. Assists with the preparation of compliance reports for issuance to financial institutions. Prepares account reconciliations and analyses. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
