Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist - Configuration & Quotation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing accurate and timely quotations for our products and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.   1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ABB's products and solutions, as well as the needs and preferences of our target market.
  2. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and procurement to gather and analyze information necessary for creating accurate quotations.
  3. Utilize technical knowledge to accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their requirements.
  4. Prepare and deliver timely, professional and accurate quotations to potential and existing customers, meeting all necessary deadlines.
  5. Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote brand loyalty and increase sales.
  7. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  8. Work closely with the sales team to support their efforts in achieving revenue targets and driving sales growth.
  9. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing and delivery of products and solutions.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotations, customer interactions, and sales activities in the company's CRM system.
  11. Represent ABB at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase our products and services and generate leads.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions and transactions with customers.
  13. Continuously strive to improve processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the quotation process.
  14. Provide training and guidance to junior team members to ensure consistency and quality in quotation processes.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the company by achieving individual and team targets and participating in team meetings and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Sales, Specifically In Configuring And Quoting Products Or Solutions

  • Strong Understanding Of Technical Products And Ability To Translate Customer Needs Into Customized Solutions

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software And Tools, Such As Crm Systems And Configuration Software, To Accurately And Efficiently Generate Quotes For Customers.
