  1. Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of robotics systems for clients.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to robotics systems, including hardware and software.
  3. Provide timely and efficient support to customers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system performance.
  4. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure customers' needs are met and exceeded.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of robotics systems.
  6. Keep accurate records of service visits, including all maintenance, repairs, and replacements performed.
  7. Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of robotics systems.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics technology and share knowledge with team members.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing on-site services.
  10. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to provide timely updates and reports on service activities.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when representing the company and interacting with customers.
  12. Collaborate with other field service technicians to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.
  13. Take ownership of customer satisfaction and work towards building long-term relationships with clients.
  14. Follow company policies and procedures, including completing all necessary paperwork and documentation.
  15. Continuously look for ways to improve service processes and procedures to enhance customer experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience In Robotics, Automation, And Related Systems. This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of Programming Languages, Computer-Aided Design (Cad), And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Experience In Field Service: The Robotics Field Service Technician Should Have Previous Experience In Providing On-Site Technical Support And Maintenance Services For Industrial Automation Equipment. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Diagnosing And Resolving Complex Technical Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Abb Products: Familiarity With Abb's Robotics And Automation Products Is A Key Qualification For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Abb's Product Portfolio, Including Their Features, Capabilities, And Applications.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: The Robotics Field Service Technician Will Be Required To Interact With Clients And Other Team Members On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills And A Customer-Oriented Mindset Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Work Independently: Abb's Robotics Field Service Technicians Are Often Required To Work Independently And Travel Extensively To Different Client Sites. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Self-Motivated, Organized, And Capable Of Managing Their Time Effectively To Meet Tight Deadlines And Deliver Quality Service.
