  1. Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation and control systems for industrial customers.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  3. Conduct system testing and ensure functionality and performance meets customer expectations.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation and control systems.
  6. Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working on customer sites.
  8. Document all work performed and provide reports to customers and internal teams.
  9. Train and mentor less experienced technicians to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
  10. Travel to various customer sites as required, both domestically and internationally.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality, safety, and ethics.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, sales, and project management to ensure successful project execution.
  14. Maintain and update technical documentation and manuals for all systems and equipment.
  15. Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge And Experience: A Qcs Field Service Technician At Abb Should Possess Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience In The Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting Of Quality Control Systems (Qcs) Equipment. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Electrical, Mechanical, And Pneumatic Systems.

  • Familiarity With Abb Products And Systems: A Successful Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working With Abb Products And Systems, Including Qcs Equipment. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Abb's Quality Standards And Procedures.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: As A Qcs Field Service Technician, The Ability To Quickly Identify And Solve Complex Technical Problems Is Essential. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Troubleshoot Issues, And Make Recommendations For Improvements.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are A Must For A Qcs Field Service Technician. They Will Be Required To Work Closely With Customers, Providing Technical Support And Advice, And Ensuring Their Satisfaction With Abb's Products And Services.
