  1. Develop and deliver innovative solutions for customers in the paper industry.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop proposals that meet their requirements.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify technical solutions and cost-effective options for proposals.
  4. Review and interpret customer specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy in proposals.
  5. Create detailed technical proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of ABB's technology and automation solutions.
  6. Utilize strong engineering background and knowledge of industry trends to provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and addressing any technical questions or concerns.
  8. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
  9. Stay updated on industry advancements and changes to continuously improve ABB's proposal offerings.
  10. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote ABB's solutions to potential customers.
  11. Evaluate project risks and opportunities to ensure proposals are competitive and profitable.
  12. Support the sales team in negotiating and closing deals by providing technical support and expertise.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  14. Contribute to the development of new products and solutions by providing feedback and insights from customer interactions.
  15. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Paper Industry, Specifically In Proposal Engineering Or Project Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Paper Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, Including Pulp And Paper Production, Chemical Recovery, And Power Generation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Clients, Vendors, And Internal Teams.

  • Proficiency In Project Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite, With The Ability To Create And Present Technical Proposals And Project Plans.
