
Production CNC Operator
Position includes rotation to other jobs within facility. Make necessary adjustments to machines. Check work pieces for accuracy & defects using various gauges. Must be able to follow work-instructions and make parts according to customer specifications. Notify supervisors when repairs are required. Turn on machines. Test run machines. Observe machine operation. Check machines for malfunctions. Use computers to enter performed work, read work instructions, and report work orders. Working safely is the top priority! Safety rules must always be followed. Safety protocol & PPE requirements must be followed. Regular & predictable attendance is required. ABB has a Code-of Conduct that must be followed. Must be familiar with reading calipers, micrometers, and various measuring devices and gages. Must be able to read blueprints and make offset adjustments to equipment.
CNC experience is required
12-months experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred
Experience with micrometers, calipers, and reading blueprints is required
Familiarity with motor assembly, motor parts, and production flow is preferred
